My accounting career to date has provided me with a variety of exciting roles and experiences.
Some of my experiences include:
• Senior Accountant in public practice for one of the "Big-6" accounting firms
• Consultant on many accounting systems planning and conversion projects
• Controller of a multi-million dollar division of an American oil and gas company
• Controller of a residential condominium developer
• Consultant to Government and Not-for-Profit organizations.
I have advanced financial and management accounting skills with senior experience in financial analysis and reporting, financial statement compilation, strategic planning, costing, pricing, and budgeting/forecasting.
I take pride in my career and value the relationships I've built with clients. I enjoy challenges and excel at producing high-quality results successfully and efficiently. I am a business graduate and a professionally designated accountant with The Society of Management Accountants of Canada.

Dara Kanty

Since joining Kanty full-time in 2000, my experience includes managing various accounting activities for clients - such as accounts payables and receivables, general ledger reconciliations, payroll, financial analysis and month-end reporting. I also take an active role in all accounting systems work - providing clients with planning, conversion, support and training services for Sage BusinessVision accounting software.
Prior to working for Kanty, I have a number of years experience as an Office Administrator for various Provincial Government ministries. I gained my accounting education from Grant MacEwan College.
I take pride in providing my clients with personalized services tailored to their specific needs. As such, I've been able to develop and foster long-term relationships with many clients.
